EidAl-Adha

Eid Al-Adha will be a momentous and joyous moment for Muslims up and down the country.

Celebrating Eid Al-Adha will be a bit different this year and it’s important to continue to adhere to all of the important guidance which has been put into place to keep everyone safe from coronavirus.

Before you visit the Mosque, check for the latest guidance and any special measures that have been put into place for Eid. You can do this by either checking online or by talking to a person of responsibility at the Mosque.

If planning a celebration outside of the Mosque, remember, limit social interaction with anyone outside of the group that you are with to help reduce the spread of the virus.

Other actions taken to reduce the risk of transmission should also be considered, for example, any foodstuffs shared should be prewrapped, and prevent individuals from coming into contact with consumables and any dishes and/ or cutlery other than their own. While it will be different this year, we wish you and safe and Happy Eid.

Eid Mubarak.
